An owl of a week: WEEK 3 FEB 2024 TRACKING

Accidentally and serendipitously, it was an owl of a week.
Not only did I come across the Owl-Faced Monkey (Cercopithecus hamlyni) at the Berlin Zoo, I also saw the ‘Grey Owl’ Eastern Red Cedar (Juniperus virginiana) – a spreading, low-growing, non-flowering cypress tree. Yes, it did have botanical identification! The monkey is named due to its appearance and the cedar cultivar tree is named due to its colour, which, of course, means that it doesn’t look like an owl at all (see the photos below).
